Need to Vent

ok....this is driving me crazy. I just realized that over the past 48 hours I have said at least 4 incredibly stupid things that while I was attempting to interact positively with different individuals I may have royally insulted them. ARRRRRGGGGG!!!!
Lord when will I learn to think things through before I say them? Right now I'm praying for the right opportunities to apologize for my careless words....stupid...stupid.....stupid Kida

I could use some extra prayer the next few days.... A decision needs to be made about choosing a new school, this is not like the last times, clarity is lacking and agenda's run high.... my allergy is flaring up again and there are new medications and doctors to investigate.....and many other little things in life need to be worked & thought through

Yes, it has been a long time. Now is the time (aka summer) when teachers can catch-up on everything they have been putting off. For example, I washed the truck this morning.

In other news, I'm back on the job hunt for now. A few schools are interested in me, and I have applications out to a few others. We will see where the Lord leads this year. My prayer is to stay around the Orlando area, but as always I'm willing to go wherever He leads. I'm also attempting to look into grad school...not as easy as it sounds.

My friends Haley and Amy came down to visit last week, which was a blast. Very funny things can happen when I have that little sleep. My Mom and Aunt are coming down tomorrow that should be fun! Another friends is talking about coming down later this summer. See why I'm so hesitant to leave Orlando....visitors ROCK!...lol Really it has more to do with finally finding a church with great fellowship.

Speaking of putting things off, I better work on my budget

In Like a Lion

March is here. Right it is raining cats&dogs...and my classes have been "moody" (for lack of a better term) I think that this classifies as coming in like a lion. Will be looking forward for the going out like a lamb part.

Currently I am in part 4 of the 53 part master plan to Get-Kara-a-Life.
Part 1 was to get involved in a ministry....Cubbies Check!
Part 2 was to find a Bible Study Fellowship class....Check!
Part 3 was to find people about my age....Check! (this one was not my idea....I'm being pushed and deciding not to fight back anymore)

Part 4....currently involves becoming involved in more random activities with before mentioned age group. I failed to show up to the all girl video game party. Hey after a REALLY bad day, I just couldn't bring myself to drive 30 min one way in a storm to play games that I'm bad at with people I still don't know. My couch, a good movie, and a blanket won over social networking. (or as it was called in pre-K....playing nice with the other children) Saturday I try again....this time it is ice skating. That I can do, even if it has been about 2 years.

I'm writing mostly due to to face that it has been a while, and I probably should....that and I'm putting off doing my taxes....just kidding, I'm putting off grading.

Life is interesting now. Working on travel plans, waiting to hear back from people. Excited about the prospect of seeing people I haven't seen in a while.

At school this has been the week the other teachers decided to see if I could be a "responsible teacher." AKA they happened to plan to each leave for 2.5 days. Today was the day when it was just me and 2 subs. Fun times. Well, no one died and I even was lead-teacher-type-responsible 5-6 times in the past 2 days. We will see what tomorrow holds. (insert dramatic music)

Oh...here is a fun thing. I'm pretty sure that I'm the only teacher in history to wish that her students were less intelligent. Yah, one day I will learn how to spell "special," "horses," and "steer" properly, but until then I just wish they could gently correct my spelling without laughing to my face.

Last but not least, I can tell that it is drawing on the end of February. Want to know how I know? It has nothing to do with the weather, crazy 80 degree days are just not normal this time of year. No it is that in the past 3 days I've had the sudden urge to rearrange furniture and clean. Hence what my bedroom and classroom now look like. I even got ambitious and re-did my posters which were still the ones put up at the beginning of the school year.

So there is life...I better get back to it.
